Adams-Arevalo, Sara "Sas" Kairston 31, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 after a long, hard battle with cancer. Sara was born on September 10, 1990 in Chicago, Illinois, to Christopher and Melissa Adams. She was married to John Arevalo on September 4, 2016. Sara worked at the Beaumont Bar and Grill, but her greatest joy was being a mom and an aunt. Sara was preceded in death by her mother Melissa "Missy" Adams, her papa Keith Adams, her grandma Sara Lee, and her grandpa Tom Miller. Sara is survived by her husband John, her children Gracie and Maddie, her father Chris Adams, her sisters Paige Adams and Elise (Logan) Anderson Newkirk, her grandmother Charlotte Miller, her Aunts Holly Lee, Erin (Don) Bridges, her uncle Scott Adams; Daughter in-law to Henry and Sally Arevalo, Sister-in-law of Nina Winn, Enrique (Leanna), Anthony (Jacob), Thomas, Cat, Nicholas (Karina), Christopher (Denise), Victoria (Des); Fond niece to Lisy (Dan) Aykroid, Patty (Ralph) Rodriguez and Bob Muza. Saras cousins Matt, Sammi (Quinn); Madison, Malik, and Keith; Erica, Jillian, Bridget (Kayla), and Alissa; Cynthia (Brandon), Margo, and Willow; Megan, Makayla, Mallory, Jase, and Tessa; Sarah (Derek), Elaina, and Brie; Ralphie (Senia), Ava, and Lily; Claire; Don, Angie, Joey, Matt. Her nieces and nephews Joshie, Jordan, Eunai, Olivia, Winnie, Emilia. Sara was a beloved friend to many. Her wonderful spirit joy, and love will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at St. James Lutheran Church located at 2050 N. Fremont St., Chicago, IL 60614. The burial will be private.
