Ana I Galindo
June 12, 1934 - March 23, 2022
Ana I Galindo was a strong-willed and fiercely independent woman. At a period when most women were expected to be a doting housewife and mother, Ana chose to become a career woman. Though never married, she was surrounded by family and friends who loved her and whom she loved. She enjoyed her solitude and was content being alone but didn’t mind socializing. Her adventurous spirit lead her to immigrate to America at a young age and to journey to many countries during her lifetime. She loved traveling, trying new cuisine and seeing different cultures. She lived her life how she wanted and when she wanted (usually about an hour behind everyone else :-) ). There was an air of sophistication and grace about her that she retained until the very end. Her body is at rest but her soul lives on with her sister and nieces in the presence of God’s glory. In the honor of her spirit of giving in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association – www.alz.org , Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - www.spcai.org/donate or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - www.stjude.org .
